How to collaborate with CRAL

Research Projects

The CRAL center promotes research projects aimed at addressing contemporary challenges in the fields of architecture and urbanism. These projects are organized around the researchers’ areas of specialization and specific research lines (see the sidebar). The goal is to generate knowledge that is applicable both academically and professionally, contributing to the transformation of architectural practices with a sustainable and socially responsible approach.

Knowledge Transfer Agreements

One of CRAL’s core pillars is collaboration with public and private institutions through knowledge transfer agreements. These partnerships enable the application of research results to real-world projects, ensuring that technological and methodological innovations have a tangible impact. Agreements in areas such as urban regeneration, architectural heritage, and participatory public space design exemplify the effectiveness of this collaborative model, strengthening the links between the university and society.

Exploratory Workshop Projects

Exploratory workshops are a key tool for experimenting with new materials, processes, and technologies. These projects allow researchers and students to delve into practical aspects related to their areas of specialization, such as advanced structures, computational design, and digital fabrication. Through these experimental spaces, creativity and innovation are fostered, contributing to the development of specific solutions that can be transferred to professional practice.
